TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

This is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
